The world is filled with locations that are seen as sacred. But what is sacred? what does it mean to so many cultures and people around the world? where and what are these places?
There is a running pattern emanating from our ancient past. with many cultures describing places of which the heavens touched the earth. in some cases humans have drawn strength and understanding from these locations for thousands of years. places in geo position, places in time and alignment, even places found only within the mind. it is at these junctures that we find ourselves vulnerable yet empowered by what is found.

axis mundi is the sonic pursuit of those places, hoping to encompass a value and context from seeking the macrocosm within our world, as well as the microcosm that links inside all of us.
